Trinity College School Gym-a-thon, Port Hope, ON
During Trinity College’s "Week Without Walls", the resourceful William Langford and Cal Quantrill along with 65 fellow classmates raised enough funds through a Gym-a-thon to build another playground in Afghanistan. "In Junior School, the main thing we looked forward to was recess. I've got a feeling a lot of these kids (in Afghanistan) haven't be doing a lot of playing over the last couple of years", says Cal. The Gym-a-thon was a huge success and we applaud Will, Cal and their fellow students for the awesome contribution to a playground in Afghanistan. Please read the press article about this wonderful youth initiative.
