Locations in Afghanistan

Alai Girls High School

Alai is located in the center of Jalalabad City of Ningarhar Province. It is along the route of Jalalabad and Torkham Road, the biggest Girls High School in Ningarhar Province. There are 4,141 girls studying in this school in two sessions.

Nazo Ana Girls High School

Nazo Ana is located in the center of Jalalabad City of Ningarhar Province. It is situated near to Kabul Bus station in Jalalabad City. There are about 5000 girls studying in this school in two sessions. There are 70 classes for girls in grades 1-12.

Zainab Kobra Girls High School

Zainab is located in the center of South Kabul City. The Hazara population around this school is very poor. There are 5200 girls and only 23 boys studying in this school in three sessions. There are around 50 classes for girls in grades 1-12. There are 112 teachers.

Abdul Rahman Paswak Girls High School

This Hazara ethnic group is located in the center of south Kabul City. There are 3000 girls and 4000 boys studying in three sessions plus 150 students in night sessions. There are 180 teachers.

Yousaf Bangi High School

This school is in the west side of Kabul in the area of Dashtee Barchi. Most of the population of the area are Hazara Tribe of Afghanistan.There are 1120 girls and about 980 boys up to grade 9. These students are studying in two rotating sessions.

Shahrake Safa Intermediate School

This school is in the west side of Kabul in the area of Dashtee Barchi. Most of the population of the area is of the Hazara Tribe of Afghanistan There are 2800 girls and about 3200 boys up to grade 9. These students are studying in two sessions. There are 122 teachers.

Ahmadkot High School

This school is in located in Ningarhar Province east of Kabul. The school has approximately 1,500 boys and girls. There are 43 teachers.

Maidan Shahar School

This school is in Wardak Province southwest of Kabul. There are approximately 1,400 boys and girls. The playground will include a new wall to keep the children safe while playing.

Maryam Girls High School

This school is situated in Kabul with approximately 5,128 students and 188 teachers. Students in Grade one through twelve rotate in three different time periods of the day. Soon 23 new pieces of playground equipment will be installed.

Bibi Rabia School

This school in Kabul has approximately 3,700 students, most of whom are girls. There are over 100 teachers for classes for grades 1-12. This school now has 35 new pieces of equipment installed.

Malaka Suraya Girls High School

This school in Kabul is attended by approximately 14,000 girls rotating in three different shifts throughout the day. There are 294 teachers. Along with the playground equipment, a soccer/football field has been placed.

Bibi Hawa Girls High School

This school in Jalalabad, Ningarhar Province is attended by approximately 6,400 girls with 134 teachers.

The Tajwar Sultan Girls School, Kabul

This school has 4,632 students in grades 1-12, with 143 teachers. There are fourteen Grade 7 classes. The students attend the school in three different sessions starting at 6:00am. The school stays open in the hot summer and closes for winter as there is no central heat and roads are dangerous for walking or impassable with snow. The school had one volleyball net and two broken basketball hoops. Because of the numbers of students, Playground Builders is placing 27 pieces of equipment. The basketball hoops will be repaired. Soccer balls, volleyballs, basketballs and badminton sets were purchased and given to the school.

The House of Flowers Orphange

The orphanage is home to 20 boys and 10 girls. They had a small playing area. Playground Builders supplied top soil and grass sod to improve enjoyment and safety to these beautiful children.
